The AcroBack Go — Guide & Support

THE ACROBACK GO / OWNER SUPPORT

A little care. Plenty more play.

Thanks for choosing Beyond The Mat. Here you’ll find setup, care, inspection and support information for The AcroBack Go.

Before your first session

Read the setup and inspection steps below before use. Stop for pain, slipping, instability or a closure that will not stay secure. If your Go or its strap differs from the description, contact us before using it. Send a clear photo of your Go and its strap while it is not in use.

01 / MEET YOUR GEAR

Compact support. Made for the mat.

The AcroBack Go supports the base beneath the hips and lower back during floor-based L-basing. Regular and Wide offer different support areas. Your Go has two foam layers and includes a removable, hand-washable Performance Cover and FastClasp magnetic waist strap. The waist strap keeps the Go attached to you during practice. Do not carry or lift the Go by the strap.

Training support is not fall protection. The AcroBack Go is not medical equipment, injury treatment or protective crash padding. It does not replace qualified instruction, suitable progressions or appropriate spotting.

02 / BEFORE EVERY USE

Give your gear a closer look.

Inspect the strap, closure, stitching and cover before every use. Stop using damaged equipment. If its condition or operation is uncertain, contact us before continuing.

  • Check for visible damage, loose stitching and debris that could interfere with the closure or adjustment.
  • Use appropriate mats, spotting and progressions. Stop for pain, slipping or instability.
  • Have uncertain or damaged gear assessed before further use. Do not recreate an incident for photographs or video.

03 / GET SET

Unfold. Click. Set.

  1. Unfold. If the waist buckle is closed, lift its pull tab to release it, then unfold your Go. Place it label side up on your practice mat. The taller end goes toward your hips; the lower end goes toward your head.
  2. Click. Lie back with the Go beneath your hips and lower back. Bring the waist strap around your waist and click the buckle closed.
  3. Set. Adjust both sliders for a secure, comfortable fit. Check the buckle is fully engaged and the strap stays secure before beginning. Stop if it slips, loosens or causes discomfort.

After practice: once you are safely out of the pose, lift the buckle’s pull tab to release the waist strap. Let your Go dry fully before folding. Fold the halves together and engage the magnetic snap to keep them closed.

04 / KEEP IT READY

Use. Sweat. Clean. Repeat.

1. After practice

Wipe the strap after sweaty sessions. Remove chalk, sand and debris from the buckle and adjusters. Let the gear dry fully before storage.

2. Clean the cover

Remove the cover and hand wash it with mild soap and water. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals. Air-dry fully before refitting. Follow any additional instructions on the care label supplied with your cover.

3. Protect the foam core

Wipe with a damp cloth when needed. Do not submerge, machine wash or tumble dry the foam core. Allow it to air-dry fully.

4. Store ready for next time

Keep your Go dry, away from prolonged direct sun, excessive heat, sharp objects and chemicals. Do not pack it away damp.
