Behind the Scenes: Why I Create

I love creating things. Always have. There's something deeply satisfying about taking an idea—just a flicker of a thought—and turning it into something real that people can hold, use, and love. Especially when it’s something that helps them fly, quite literally. Acroyoga has changed my life, and now I’m on a mission to make tools that help it reach more people—safely, joyfully, and beautifully.

I’m not in this to crank out quick products. I care too much. If it takes an extra month (or three) to get the materials just right, to tweak the stitching, or to add one more clever feature—so be it. I want every product I release to feel like a gift. Like it was made with intention, because it was. You deserve gear that works as hard as you do. That lasts. That feels good. That has your back (sometimes literally).

I go through dozens of prototypes. I test them in the park, on rooftops, in the jungle, and during jams. I ask my friends. I ask strangers. I try to break them, just to see where they fail. Then I refine. And refine again. And again. Until the result is something I’m proud to put my name on. Something you’ll be proud to use. Something you might even pass on one day to another eager flyer.

Honestly, it’s not always fast. Or easy. But it is absolutely worth it. This work fuels me. I get giddy over Velcro options. I obsess over fabric tension. I geek out over buckles and weights and foldability. It’s a special kind of madness, but it’s mine—and I’m deeply grateful to have a community that believes in it with me.

I’ve already created several acroyoga products, and I’ve got more cooking. Some still just sketches in my notebook. Others deep in testing mode. And some waiting for the perfect moment to launch. What’s wild is—I feel like I’m just getting started. Like the best ideas haven’t even arrived yet. That’s what keeps me going.

To everyone who’s bought a product, shared a post, flown with me, or just said something encouraging—I see you. And I thank you. Your energy helps build this little empire of flight, one brick at a time. And trust me: every brick matters.

So here’s to the creators. The tinkerers. The testers. The wild ones who believe in better. If you’re reading this, you’re part of that story. And I can’t wait to show you what’s next.
