Beyond The Mat Two-Year Limited Warranty

Last updated: 15 July 2026

Beyond The Mat-designed gear is built for real practice. Eligible products are automatically covered for two years from delivery when a defect in materials, workmanship, or design causes premature functional failure during normal intended use.

Plain-English summary

  • Eligible Beyond The Mat-designed products are covered for two years from delivery.
  • Direct online purchases are covered automatically. Registration is not required.
  • We cover genuine defects and premature functional failure, not ordinary wear, accidents, misuse, or poor care.
  • We normally repair first, then use a replacement component, replacement product, store credit, or refund when repair is not practical.
  • Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Which products are eligible?

The two-year limited warranty applies to products designed and sold by Beyond The Mat when the product page states that it is eligible. This includes The AcroBack family, eligible AcroBack structural components and accessories, and the FlyCarian Spotting Belt.

Products made by third-party brands, consumables, apparel, cosmetic add-ons, and services are not covered by this commercial warranty unless their product page expressly says otherwise. Those products still carry any non-excludable rights provided by applicable consumer law.

What is covered?

Coverage applies when a defect in materials, workmanship, or design causes a product to fail materially earlier than a reasonable customer would expect during normal intended use and proper care.

Examples may include:

  • Seams or structural stitching separating during normal use.
  • Buckles, fasteners, magnetic components, or other hardware failing unexpectedly.
  • Structural components delaminating, splitting, collapsing, or separating prematurely.
  • Webbing pulling out of a properly used attachment point.
  • Foam or internal support structure permanently deforming materially earlier than reasonably expected.

These examples are guidance, not an automatic approval list. We assess the product, its age, use, care, and the nature of the failure.

Normal wear and premature wear

Normal wear is not a defect. Gradual softening, fading, staining, surface abrasion, compression, and cosmetic change can occur through ordinary practice.

However, deterioration that occurs materially earlier than reasonably expected under normal intended use may be treated as a covered premature failure. A product does not lose coverage merely because it has been used.

What is not covered?

  • Normal wear, gradual aging, and cosmetic changes that do not prevent normal use.
  • Cuts, punctures, burns, pet damage, loss, theft, or accidental damage.
  • Misuse, overloading, improper technique, or use outside the product's stated purpose.
  • Damage caused by improper cleaning, storage, prolonged moisture, excessive heat, UV exposure, or chemicals.
  • Unauthorized structural modification or repair.
  • Damage made worse by continuing to use a product after a defect or unsafe condition was discovered.

Our remedies

When a claim is approved, Beyond The Mat will choose the most appropriate practical remedy:

  1. Repair the product.
  2. Provide a replacement component.
  3. Replace the product.
  4. Provide store credit or a refund when repair or replacement is not practical.

We use a repair-first approach when it is safe, durable, and reasonable. Nothing in this warranty limits a remedy that applicable law requires us to provide.

How to make a claim

Email hello@beyondthematco.com with:

  • Your order number or other proof of purchase.
  • Clear photographs or video of the issue.
  • A short explanation of what happened, how the product was used, and how it was cared for.

Stop using any product that may be unsafe, structurally damaged, or uncertain. Do not continue using it while waiting for a warranty decision.

Registration

Direct purchases through Beyond The Mat are covered automatically. Product registration is optional and is useful for festival, partner, wholesale, gift, or offline purchases; ownership updates; batch or serial traceability; care information; and faster support.

Registration does not subscribe you to marketing unless you separately choose to receive marketing. Register or confirm your product details.

FlyCarian warranty and safe service life

The FlyCarian's two-year warranty is not a statement that a belt is safe to use for two years. Inspect it before every use and retire it immediately if there are cuts, abrasion, fraying, damaged stitching, deformation, damaged hardware, unusual loading, or any uncertainty about its condition.

Follow the FlyCarian Safety & Usage Guidelines and FlyCarian User Guide. Warranty coverage and safe-service decisions are separate.

Support after the warranty

Damage outside the warranty does not mean we stop helping. Contact us for repair guidance, replacement components, or another practical paid solution whenever possible.

Statutory rights

This commercial warranty is additional to rights you may have under applicable consumer law. It does not exclude, restrict, or replace rights that cannot legally be excluded.
