Thanks for the likes and follow! I have recently started basing pops using your original AcroBack and love the look of your new pillow.

Those who know them and have used the products - myself, other teachers, and students I've discussed Beyond the Mat with - absolutely love them and spread the word about your poppers around here. I bought one as soon as they came out, back when it was still sort of a pilot version, and I've talked about you guys a lot, recommending them for their great quality.

You know, this AcroBack experience really saved my back. When I started doing a lot of acro - marathons literally five times a week, plus my gym sessions - my back started getting sore in the mornings, a lot! By the time I knew about the AcroBack, I said, "Shut up and take my money!" That's why I ended up with three In general, I love them. The Big Poppa is still untouched; the other two have been the wheels of the ride.

The feedback I can tell you is that after using the little travel AcroBack a lot, the layers become more visible under the pressure of my own body. I notice it from time to time after using it.

AcroYoga Europe - Review of The AcroBack

When I started acroyoga, I noticed pain in my lower back and difficulty stretching my legs. I've always had issues with my back and knees.

One day I used the "AcroBack," a specially designed wedge pillow that targeted the exact areas where I had problems. It changed everything. I felt relief in my lower back, no more pressure sores, and I could finally stretch my legs.

I also met Brent Collier, the inventor and developer of the AcroBack. A truly lovely person, with the goal of creating the perfect product tailored to each individual. After all, we are all different - not just in our appearance but in our bodies too.

I had all these thoughts and shared them with Brent. The conclusion: I am more than satisfied with the AcroBack.

Brent took the time to explain what the AcroBack is really for. He opened my eyes to things I hadn't seen, noticed, or understood before. His view was based on prior injuries and physical limitations. In the end, every human body is unique and works differently.

The AcroBack helps support and reflect forces from the flyer through the base's body. These forces should land well in the base. The AcroBack is suitable for anyone who has limitations or doesn't feel stable. Even people without pain benefit from it, especially if they want to train their body safely.

Initially, I was satisfied with the AcroBack because it solved many of my problems. But after some use, I noticed I wasn't quite stable. I slipped off the cushion in certain poses or transitions. That wasn't ideal, and I lost balance.

But I have to admit: I'm tall and a beginner. So, I move more during poses. But no master has fallen from the sky.

I had a talk with Brent, who is always open to feedback. I almost considered giving up on the AcroBack. I thought maybe I didn't need it as a base, or that using one meant I wasn't "strong enough." But that's the wrong mindset. Supporting your body doesn't make you weaker - it helps you grow stronger.

Brent showed me all his prototypes and explained their development. I started with a newer, larger version that solved more of my problems, especially with leg spacing and stability.

He's constantly refining his products - not settling for what was "good enough" in the past. Brent collects new insights every day and continues to evolve.

Next to this better understanding of the topic, Brent also gave me tips and tricks for using the AcroBack properly. I am thrilled. It continues to help with my back and the stretch in my legs, especially now that the version is bigger and I no longer slide off or lose stability sideways.

Acroyoga has just begun for me, and I'm excited to see where it leads. Right now, it's about self-trust, trust in others, overcoming fears, development, courage - and mostly joy.

Tarzans

The AcroBack apparently allows you to make your tarzan whip go much further We wish we had The AcroBack way earlier in our practice. It's very helpful in many ways.

It doesn't help the flyer be less lazy though... Finish the whip and roll back up to bird! Too focused on the first part of the whip

I am participating in the New Years Finnacro convention. Laura & Caspian were teaching during summer. I have taken two L-base workshops and I like the AcroBack a lot, but due to the missing hip strap it isn't so convenient to use! Personally, to make it a bit wider/bigger could reach a larger variety of bases, but then carrying it wouldn't be as convenient. I got to try today a Prillow but I didn't like how soft it was, so the sturdy AcroBack is more to my favor.

Acro Singapore

I really like it! First impression was that it's smaller than I thought it would be, and I didn't have much time to play with it at home. I played a bit with my wife and she's convinced I bought it for her - because when she bases, she usually looks for a cushion.

My kid called it 'the ramp' and was using it to play toy cars racing around it

I was surprised to receive the leaflet - it makes it feel really like something I would buy off a shelf at some sporting goods store. I went through it and was impressed by how thorough it was, explaining in simple ways what it's good for and even things I hadn't thought about, like cleaning.

I'm looking forward to using it for a proper acro session next Monday (they're re-opening yoga studios after 5 weeks!) - if all goes well, because I heard today the government is rethinking the opening.

Also, I used it this morning for meditation

AcroBack Go supporting a seated base, showing the cushion beneath the hips

A familiar place to settle.

Go gives your hips a lower-profile support surface for everyday L-basing. That little bit of lift lets you explore your base position without improvising a stack of mats each time.

A shaped foam core and cushioning contact layer make it a setup you can bring back to class, jams, and the next partner.

Black AcroBack Go carried beside the hip using its removable strap

Fold it up. Bring it along.

Go folds in half, and integrated magnets help hold the halves together while you pick it up. Clip on the removable magnetic carry strap and take your familiar setup to the next mat.

The strap detaches for practice and comes with the pillow.

Blue AcroBack Go folded closed, showing the cover seam, zip and white carry strap

Made for the sessions that add up.

The removable cover is made for repeated training and straightforward care. Take it off when it needs cleaning or when you want to refresh your pillow.

Regular and Wide share that practical setup; choose the support area you prefer and keep the pillow ready for the next session.
